I’ve been on the nutrition struggle bus too.
After I had my children, I experienced extreme fatigue and stubborn baby weight. Not only that, but I was shocked to find out my cholesterol levels were elevated at my yearly check-up. I tried calorie counting, intermittent fasting, and started running (which I hate, BTW). But I kept feeling like crap.
Eventually, I turned to genetic testing and glucose monitoring to get to the bottom of it. Turns out, I was eating foods that were leaving me on a blood sugar roller coaster. Plus, I wasn’t eating enough to keep up with my busy life as a mom of two. Not a good mix.
That lit the fire. I learned to balance my meals, took a deep dive into my genetics, and was able to craft a plan that helped me feel energized all day. I also lost weight I thought would never budge, all without relying on calorie counting or restriction. The relief was like an exhale I was holding in for years, and it’s what inspired me to specialize in this type of work.
